The President of the Peace and Friendship Organization of Mongolia D.Zagdjav met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia, Mr. Wang Xiaolong at the Peace and Friendship Palace. To coincide with the Ambassador’s return to his homeland he was awarded the highest honor of Peace and Friendship-the “Golden Star of Friendship” medal. During the awarding ceremony the PFOM President Mr. Zagdjav has stated the Ambassador “has made a valuable contribution to developing relations between the two countries. The four years of your work has been filled with historically important events. The cooperation between the countries was stabilized by a high level state visit of the President of the PRC’s Xi Jinping which was successful, as I understand, in no small measure thanks to your contribution. Mongolia is a landlocked country between two great empires which plays to its strengths. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in return has stated “The Mongolian people are warm and friendly and the nature is beautiful. I’m very happy to have worked in this country. Also, I’m honored to have been awarded the “Golden star of Friendship” medal. In the future we are ready to expand the cooperation between the citizens of the two countries and in all spheres of possible cooperation.”

At the awarding ceremony the 2^nd secretary of the Chinese embassy Liu Lee, deputy president of the PFOM Ts.Anandbayar, Board member M.Chimedtseye, Secretary General P.Surenjav, 1^st Secretary of the Department of Neighboring countries E.Undraa were present.
